Only a few commentaries of the text are available in print as it has been mostly taught orally in the current Vedānta tradition. Sādhana Pañcakaṃ keeps its vision very clear by presenting the vision of the Upaniṣads in a step by step fashion. The Upaniṣads teach that Liberation can only had by knowing the Self to be God, Brahman. Vedānta is a school of thought that is entirely based on the final section of the Vedas, called the Upaniṣads. These practices have been encapsulated in five pithy verses. This brief text aims to present the spiritual practices aimed at the goal of Vedānta, which is Liberation or Mokṣa. Among the numerous texts authored by Śaṅkara, Sādhana Pañcakaṃ is a less popular one. Sādhana Pañcakaṃ is a Vedānta treatise attributed to one of the key teachers of Vedānta, Śaṅkaracarya (Śaṅkara).
